Holi was celebrated at Sutton Balagokulam on 12th March 2017 and had a fantastic response from the families.65
65 swayamsevaks and Sevikaa’s attended the celebration and brought lovely home cooked food to share with wider family. One of the family members volunteered to cover the story about Holika Dahan for the kids.
Adults discussed Vishnu’s Dashavatar, the significance of Narasimha avatar and story of how Holika’s attempt to kill Prahalad. We discussed how good always triumphs over evil and how these learnings can be applied in our daily day life.
Many who never played with colour before, actively participated in the fun event and it was truly a happy movement for all of us.
